Based in Los Angeles, CA
Peter Levshin is an Australian-born travel photographer that has lived in Los Angeles with his lovely wife Linda since 1988. Raised in a creative family—his father was a painter and his mother designed ceramics, pottery, and tapestries—Peter now finds himself in the medium of photography, capturing images and traveling the world.
While frequenting most often to places such as Singapore, Burma, Thailand, and Papua, Peter delights in the experiences of meeting new people, learning different cultures, and capturing breathtaking scenes. His photographs are simple, ethereal, and mystical. Whether in color or black and white, Peter endeavors to translate the emotion and depth of each image to help the viewer connect with the story of his subjects.
